About Us
Our Mission
The mission of Dallas Christian Women’s Job Corps (DCWJC) is to offer a supportive environment in which women in need are equipped for life and employment while providing a context in which women help women.

Dallas Christian Women’s Job Corps is proud to be affiliated with the national organization of Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC), Christian Men’s Job Corps (CMJC), and ministries of Women's Missionary Union of Texas (WMU).
Through more than 200 registered and certified CWJC/CMJC sites across the nation, thousands of women and men each year gain self-confidence, purpose, direction, and hope for their future. CWJC/CMJC offers life skills, job skills, mentoring, and Bible study.
OUR HISTORY
Five Dallas women, representing various churches and area ministries, officially established Dallas Christian Women’s Job Corps (DCWJC) in March 1998. DCWJC’s Workforce Readiness and Life Skills Program began at Cornerstone Baptist Church and migrated to other locations before moving to the Buckner campus in 2004.
In 2007, DCWJC moved to the former parsonage of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church and in 2021 built a new facility to call home which was made possible by a generous, anonymous benefactor. In 2018, DCWJC celebrated our 20th anniversary. We look forward to the next 20 years and beyond as we strategically plan for the expansion of our ministry outreach.

OUR IMPACT
Over 1650 women have graduated from our Workforce Readiness and Life Skills programs entered the workforce, pursued higher education, or received ministry assistance (GED testing fees, business attire for job interviews or work, etc.)
