DCWJC MENTOR PROGRAM
Mentors are a key element of our Workforce Readiness and Life Skills Program. It is vital for our program participants to have a journey-walker along with their matriculation through our classes to pray, encourage, teach, guide, be an accountability partner, and be a Christ-centered servant to the mentee.
WHY BE A DCWJC MENTOR: The rewards are great! Meet new friends and help a woman grow beyond her own expectations. Inspire another to develop in her own journey walk. Fulfill the biblical commitment of Titus 2:3-5 to wisely represent God to others by living in a way that honors God.
DCWJC MENTOR STATEMENT OF FAITH:
Believe in the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and the Bible as God’s Holy Word.
Believe that Salvation comes through God’s grace by believing that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and it is only through Him (Jesus) that we can receive salvation.
Believe that once saved, the Holy Spirit indwells within believers to instruct, guide, and empower the individual to follow the mandate of daily living in Jesus Christ.
DCWJC MENTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
